What better place to write my second book than Paris? It’s absolutely gorgeous and inspiring – every corner I turn presents something that gets the creative juices flowing. In between bouts of writing sessions, I am stepping out to document my love affair with France for this photo diary. I will update throughout the summer. Enjoy!
I visited this exact location in Place Des Vosges almost ten years ago and had a life-shaping moment… finding and revisiting the same spot was both chilling and thrilling all at the same time…
Loving Le Marais…
Even the homeless in Paris are tres chic!
Frenchmen are absolutely adorable and my friend Julien is no exception.
The women here are so beautiful – it’s a shame most of them smoke those hideous ciggies (cough, cough)
Tradition for lovers is to write your name on a lock and leave it at the Siene River, to secure your love forever.
My beautiful friend Lisa
The sign of a good night out…
Don’t hate me because I hairbow’d
I mean… Vintage. Chanel. Coins. Dying.
A French bulldog in France? Cliche little bastard.
…and then I fell over and started foaming at the mouth and died in front of Walter Steiger
A Dolce & Gabbana cake… I repeat, a Dolce & Gabbana…. cake.
Montmartre – my favorite part of the city
Some guy named Picasso used to get his morning coffee here…
A magical photo moment – I looked up from the camera and she was gone.
Step into my office/train…
2 girls, 1 week… what?
The below are taken from Antibes, a gorgeous town in the south of France…
Deep thoughts – or counting calories consumed at the patisserie? The later, for sure.
Well, I do love my Penguins
And then we drove to Monaco… for ice cream.
…And all I could think is: Kim Zolciak has these wine glasses. Don’t judge me.
Ville Eze – heaven atop a hillside.
Ville Franche sur mer
One Foot In the Dior! Nudge, nudge – wink, wink.
We met celebrated painter Sylvian Preziosa aka Fishman in Ville Eze a few days ago. He invited us to his art studio in Ville Franche sur mer today! Hoping he’ll give me a break on one of his pieces, yet not holding my breath!
St Jean at Cap Ferrat
Making a wish… dreams do come true!
Hiked down the cliffs at the Cap Ferrat and dove into the sea naked. Top ten moments in my life, thus far.
….more to come. xo
